Hot wings and cold draft beer at a sports bar on Saturday night were one of the pleasures I used to have before the outbreak of the coronavirus. Now we can't enjoy it anymore, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy hot wings anymore. Tyson Buffalo Hot Wings is an alternative we have chosen.
I had bought small bags of the same product before from Ralph's. I remember Tyson also had Honey BBQ flavored wings, but the Buffalo Hot wings were more my taste. It's a bit risky to buy in bulk what you haven't tried yet, but if you have and liked it, why not go with a big bag?

When we shopped at Sam's Club a few weeks ago, actually I was ready to grab any brand of hot wings (still was in the middle of 'panic buying' situation), but there was only Tyson's. We got a bag of 5 pounds (80 ounces, 2.26 kilograms) for $14.98.

We usually use our conventional oven to heat up frozen food, the easiest and yummiest way for us. I believe it's best for most frozen foods to do deep-frying, but this product doesn't seem to recommend deep-fry, perhaps because the wings are already coated with a sauce. I bet this will be really good with air-fry. I'm still debating whether to buy an air fryer...

It's not very clear how many wings are in the package, but as I counted in the following picture, there are a total of 36 chicken wings. The package says the entire container is about 18 servings, so the serving size (3 OZ, 84 g) means 2 chicken wings.

Do you have any preference on parts of wings? For me, I like wingettes better and am lucky to have more wingettes than drumettes! There were a total 36 full pieces, a half drumette and a tip. Not bad.

Frankly, I didn't know the names of parts of a chicken wing until now; drumette, wingette and tip. But I know that I hate when a restaurant serves whole wings with tips.. (> <。)
Hot wings with baby carrots and celery sticks as a side with ranch dressing, and a glass of cold beer and a fun movie — it just makes the night!
